Loggerhead Marketing, LLC was formed in 2009 and is comprised of four partners residing in Myrtle Beach. Our office building is located on Jamestowne Drive in Garden City.

Loggerhead Marketing, LLC is an independently owned company providing custom website design & programming to businesses along the Grand Strand. Unlike other website design companies, Loggerhead Marketing has a dedicated expert in programming, design, marketing, and writing working on each website project. All of our website design projects are completed in-house and are never outsourced.

Meet the Loggerhead Marketing staff:

Matt Criswell - General Sales Manager

Matt grew up outside of Pittsburgh, PA and graduated from Penn State University with a B.A. in Telecommunications. Throughout high school and college, Matt worked as a mobile DJ which steered him towards a career in radio & television advertising sales. Matt has served as Sales Manager, Promotions Director, and National Sales Manager for some of central Pennsylvania's most popular radio stations. Matt's experience includes not only media advertising sales, but also creating and coordinating large events, developing strategic marketing plans, and launching new radio stations and websites.

Matt serves as General Sales Manager for Loggerhead Marketing and its community website, GrandStrandOnline.com.

When not selling Loggerhead Marketing services, Matt spends his time at area car shows, watching Penn State and Pittsburgh Steeler football, and enjoying the beach with his wife, Missy, and their two dogs, Tucker and Buffy.

Cale Benner - Lead Designer

Cale grew up in a small town in the Susquehanna Valley of central Pennsylvania. He was first exposed to the Adobe software in his freshman year of high school in 2001 and hasn't looked back since. After graduating high school, Cale attended Full Sail University where he received a degree in Digital Arts and Design. In the years to follow Cale has found his place in the web design world and has worked on hundreds of websites, print pieces, apparel items and more. Cale can often be found sitting behind his Mac putting a new spin on old designs and coming up with fresh and inspiring concepts. He is known for being very creative and using his skills to push traditional design to new levels.

Cale likes to refuel his creative juices by spending time with his wonderful wife Sherye, playing guitar, watching movies and enjoying the beach.

Matthew Dewyer - Lead Programmer

With nine years of programming experience by the age of 24, Matt brings a unique combination of experience and youth to the table for Loggerhead Marketing. Matt started his programming endeavors writing applications for fun in Perl, and quickly moved on to building websites in PHP. After earning a degree from ITT Technical Institute, Matt jumped into programming feet first and has since worked on hundreds of websites. Matt prides himself in his solid foundation of programming standards and best practices, along with his ability to apply the latest trends in programming to client websites. He is continually researching new developments in code and website technology, allowing Loggerhead to stay on the forefront of website development. Similarly, Matt also has an extensive background in server management and administration.

When Matt isn't programming for Loggerhead Marketing, he enjoys spending time at the beach, going for walks and hanging out with friends.

Missy Criswell - Content Writer & Office Manager

Originally from western Pennsylvania, Missy graduated from Penn State University in 2001 with a B.A. in History and a Minor in American Studies. After graduation, Missy worked in the mortgage industry for several years as a Loan Processor and Loan Officer prior to working as a freelance writer. Missy's writing experience includes news articles & features for community websites, e-mail newsletters, and features for local journals. Currently, Missy works as the Office Manager for Loggerhead Marketing and provides all of the content for client websites as well as all the content for our own website, GrandStrandOnline.com.

Outside of the office, Missy is an avid Penn State football fan and likes to watch sports, read, and spend time with her two dogs. We Are......Penn State!
